A DeForest area community-based network with the mission to provide and coordinate help with safety, health and daily tasks.
Our Purpose
To provide help for people In the DeForest Area School District in the areas of safety, health, and daily tasks.
To disperse funds received according to the guidelines of adopted policies and procedures.
To cooperate with all city, state, or federal agencies to coordinate goods and services for the temporary relief of people in the areas of safety, health, and daily tasks.
DeForest Area Needs Network Inc. Was Founded In 1998.

Holiday Gift Giving To Needy Families
Every December the community rallies together to Provide funds and shop for gifts for the needy in the area. firefighters, police, social workers, churches, community workers, seniors, and neighbors fund, purchase and support families with gifts for the holidays. In the past, the community has provided gifts of food, clothing, and toys to over 150 children and family groups in the DeForest Area School District.
Community Resource Information/Referrals
Civic, church, and business groups are abundant In our area. many of these groups commit to helping others in The community on a regular basis. With all the various needs and services available, DeForest Area Needs Network, Inc. (DANN) has chosen to have a central phone line for phone call inquiries, by people Who have needs. These individuals are directed to call those Who have the best ability to meet their needs.
Health and Safety Needs Addressed
Partial reimbersements are available for those in financial Need as They Seek To Take Courses In CPR Or Similar Classes. Education that Helps Out The Community Organizations Fits In With Our Mission Statement To Support People In The Area Of Safety.
These goals could not be met without the support of community businesses and organizations, as well as members of the public.
